  1. AMEN. As a long distance runner, I can testify to the fact that one can do more than one thinks. We are more resilient and resourceful than we give ourselves credit for. Advice to myself: don’t automatically believe the little voice in your head. Blessings.

    • That’s a great illustration. I think all of us have discovered that when we have found ourselves in situations where we have no option but to go on – from parenting, to being a caregiver for someone who is sick or elderly, to dealing with a serious diagnosis, to experiencing a trauma. We are more resilient and resourceful than we ever could have foreseen. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Blessings

  2. My faith is stronger today having gone through multiple traumas. I am stronger today because I am a survivor. But that trauma also left its scars and it requires me to manage the triggers that can drag me down. This forced me to rely on the support and counsel of others. I have been blessed by a small circle of close friends. Thanks for this encouraging post.

    • Thanks for sharing your experience. Trauma does leave scars and there are always triggers. That’s one of the toughest parts. I am really glad you have found a group of people who have proven to be a genuine support. That helps so much. Blessings ❤️

  3. Truth!!! Some people need to learn the hard way, through adversity. I am now asking for lessons to be soft and thoughtful, and the wisdom to be able to recognize that soft and thoughtful lesson BEFORE it must hit me over the head 🙂
